See the wonderful thing about Fossil Fuel reserves; if you don’t extract them, they don’t disappear. For example, there’s said to be 400 years of Coal Reserves under my feet here in Central Scotland!!
Anyone remember Coal?

Same with Oil & Gas reserves in the North Sea & around Scotland’s shores.
