HI all
just an update from the Ideal Logic 24 combi boiler problem i described the other day,of no hot water but central heating working fine.
Proved the diverter valve works,
Proved the diverter valve head moves when called for from the central heating but not from the tap water call
boiler does not fire when called for when hot taps turned on
Thought maybe its the hot water flow turbine cartridge or sensor, or PCB??
found a downloadable manual from internet for this model
in the fault finding section a flow chart leads me to the PCB if the sensor on the flow turbine is lit up by a red neon light,
the light only flickers when hot water is called for so im not sure if its supposed to flicker or this is a fault light which the manual describes?
any ideas boys would be greatly appreciated as i don't want to be buying all sorts of parts until i get the correct one
