I fitted a new programmer today, I've not done one for a while and how times have changed, I switched it on and it already knew the time and date,, I was well pleased because it usually takes me longer to set the buggers than fit them, As for setting the programs, I just hand the customer the book and say, here luv, the programmer has built in settings, if you wanna change them full instructions are here, qwerty

This is where the grandkids come in useful Tom. Any problems wi tecknology in our house and a quick call to one of me grandkids usually gets things sorted.

You know something, I think I'm slowly turning into my grandma because I'm just as inapt with this new technology as she was with decimalisation back in 1970......"How many penny's are in a shilling now?" she would say. A lot of these new programmers are getting really complicated with the tiniest symbol hidden away in a far corner to indicate that it's accidently gone into a "holiday mode" or it's defaulted onto "Mongolian time settings". Give me a simple "click" on/off any day.

you're Sooooo right JJ, I get a crash course in how to do things on the ipad when the grandkids come here in Summer, Trouble is they overload my brain and it goes into meltdown and by the time they go home, I'm no better off than i was before, smiley-computer005puter
