I've had two faults with these in the past Attachment DeletedBoth where related to the wiring shorting out - first job was the fan wire rubbed though which wouldn't fire up regardless. second job was the ignitor wire against the casing door which gave exactly the same fault you stated - casing cover removed boiler ignited.

I've seen this a few times- it's a blocked Venturi on the fan.. take the APS hoses from the fan and the + side will be blocked, clean both sides (+ & -) with a pipe cleaner don't take it apart or the bolts drop off inside

hello everyone, yes i'd agree with TJ, its an inbalance of air so a blocked venturi,or faulty air pressure switch or slow fan could cause this, I went to that christning yeasterday, got completely bladdered and just coming round a bit,

He had a play with it but we ain't got a clue I left him to so if he fucked it up he could not blame me. ............. It did not work he has a man with knowledge coming in the morning when it is sorted I will let you know what the problem was.
