Here's a suggestion for a video Tom. It's called Puller's pearl of wisdom Poundland Plug.
Its a DaftyDIYer's pipe freezing kit.
Items required;
Poundland Air Duster(1 quid a can)
200mm foam pipe insulation. 22or15mm whatever is needed.
Bin liner.
Cable ties.
Put the insulation around the live water pipe, rap the bin liner around the foam insulation & tie it tight with the cable ties.
Poke the straw of the Air Duster into the the 'rap', invert the can & spray for a couple of minutes or as long as required.
Leave it for 3-4 minutes until the ice plug is formed. Cut the pipe & repair etc as required.
Oh, don't forget the Gaylord gloves!!

That's the one Tom, I've honestly not tried it but it's a Refrigerant & should do the business. The can needs to be inverted to get the liquid out. Im looking forward to the video!! |

i took into the reseach and development studio today, it will defo work but i did't realise what i was doing wrong till too late and wasted the cans, I'get some more and do it right, thats a good hack Dick, how did you learn that ??  |
