I've seen them before Dick I've never used them though, I think our mate Chez has a video out on them, I've often wondered how long they'd last for on central heating, It's always handy knowing an alternative way b ut you know us oldies, new tricks and old dogs, downloadlove

Over 4Bar on air pressure; I have a customer whom I call "DIY Grandad" who's always doing really bad plumbing jobs at his daughter house who then calls us out to sort out the mess. One time he had had a go installing an electric shower and used a plastic push fit stop tap and this new liquid copper glue on the fittings. In the middle of the night the stop tap flew off causing a flood and I had the job of sorting it out. I didn't know why the push fit had shot off but replaced it with a compression stop tap that's when I felt the glued joint move (it was a little bit like when you find a soldered fitting that hadn't run right when soldered but had lasted for years until you come across it and gave it a widdle. That's what I did and after about 4 or 5 widdles the joints came out in my hand. I then replaced all of Grandads glued copper with soldered joints and thought what a load of crap this liquid it was. So Dick can it pass a widdle test? Tappy,
