Got this job tomorrow to repair this down pipe. Its got flat roof, top part of down pipe is cast wrapped in denso! So i think the twat is smashed. The down pipe measure accross 75mm its plastic with push fit sockets(not work with this stuff before)any heads up on this push fit pipe what sizes it comes in?cheers guys. Hiya endfeed, cor, that looks a mess, that outlet looks cone shaped from where I'm looking, If so, no wonder its denso'd up, I can't see any way of making that look good, 75mm is a common size for rainwater ( 3 inch in old money) and its easy to work with, just how to fix it to that outlet is a problem,
If it was me, if you can get a socket on to that outlet and screw it with a couple of screws by drilling the cast and forcing some 8's screws in, then silicone the top up, I wish steve the pro was here, he would know a way,

If its smashed under the denso, bet ya bottom doller it is sad 1 ! My plan is to put a flexi coupler 4inch to 3 inch and try to tighten jublie clip at bottom of cone,which measures 4 inch then work it in push fit plastic from there...if that fail it denso time...is all 3 inch plastic 82 mm or can you get 75 mm???

to my knowledge you can get,
4 inch---110mm
3 1/2....85mm
3 inch,,,75mm
2 1/2 ,,,62mm
and you can get reducing fittings from one to another,

Managed to get a fernco on, there was a piece of cast shoved in the cone gully then denso wrapped around it..tested dint leak  ...bit confused about pipe sizes, the plastic was osma 75mm as you said tom,but the merchants dont seem to do it!!!they only do 82mm so I had to change the whole pipe!!! smiley-face-shaking-fist . |
