When i started work in the late '60's Friday used to be a day you enjoyed more because most people only played at working on a Friday.I was called POETS day Piss Off Earley Tomorrow's Saturday is what it stood for,, Only small jobs ever got booked for friday, 8am, start the job, 9.00am off to the cafe/snack bar for full breakfast, 10am back to get the job finished, 12 o clock, back to the yard for wages 12.30 to the pub, What ever happened to those days,,No matter what firm you worked for back then, they all had similar arrangememts for Friday, Now its just a normal day. smiley-confused002asak2

Two interesting accounts of life at work when jobs existed within firms of substance and a bit history I expect.
Now if your not self-employed you tend to work for a firm on a contact with more hidden catches than ex Sunderland footballer.
