Hi, new to the forums after viewing your YouTube videos! I’m after some help and advice with my Potteron Gold 28 HE. Just recently I started to notice a small pool of water in the morning under the boiler. Long story short, I isolated the boiler and took the cover off and it would seem water is weeping out of the screw in the automatic air vent (I read the manual). I’ve also hopefully attached a picture. This only seems to happen when the boiler is not being used, I’m not sure if heat dry’s it out when it’s running? I’ve had no issues with pressure loss, hot water or radiators. Just wanted some advice on what needs fixed and the possible cause? I will obviously being calling in someone fully qualified unless it’s something I could / allowed to do myself? Thanks! Attachment Deleted

Hello Tommy, yes its something you can do, there's some muck in the auto air valve and its causing the seal to leak, you can change the whole airvent or you can just take the cap off, wrap the thread in ptfe and screw the cap back on, and at the next service ask the man to change the air vent, it should't cost more than £30 on top of the service,
