One lad I took on, he was keen as musterd, 19 years old could run about all day, did what he was told and a pleasure to work with, We're putting central heating in a 2 up 2 down mid terraced house, I've took floorboards up up stairs and we're pipeing the main runs in for the rads, The owners are out so we can work unhindered,
anyrode, we're having a brew in the lounge, Its a nice lounge, plush couch,chairs and a budgie in a cage in the corner, the rest of the house was a shit tip but thats how it was, So brewtime over i told him to go upstairs and continue pipeing up, I'm bringing some pipes in from the van ,
I'm coming in through the front door into the lounge with the pipes on my shoulder when there's this almighty crash, two feet dangling through the ceiling and the best room in this house as become a bomb site, dust,plaster and a choking budgie, , OHHHHH shit,
the rest of that day was spent cleaning up,,,,he did work hard cleaning up but that cost me a lot to put right,
