Hello friends
So I use the yellow bottled gas - map.
My pal said the blue propane gas is better as it creates a gentler heat giving you more time to solder.
Any thoughts & experiences please?
Thx, Rct

I use the regular propane blue/black/red depending on manufacturer because its cheaper, I use Mapp as well if someone gives it to me, The temp differance is no big deal, under normal use you would't notice any differance,

I always preferred the standard propane gas, that MAPP gas stinks! Nice and hot for the big stuff though. I ain't soldered a joint in years now, it's all pressed fittings in my game now, I can't say that I miss the solder burns... >.<

I'll use anything rocky, I'd even light one of flats farts to get the job done.

Always prefered the propane myself, use MAPP for 28 and up and for lighting the fire pit on my patio!
