Ok
It's just a trv, nothing special Battle
I just want the easiest way to keep it from dripping
I know there's a way with a coin but I'm going to work while the spread is here & if it drips he won't give a shite!!

If you take the top off you can't shut it off, so leave the top on, shut it down then blank it with a 15mm nut put a 5p in the nut and a 1/2 fibre washer, that will stop it opening if it gets cold,

take the TRV head off and try a 5p in there, if that doesn't work tear a small piece of cardboard and fold it in half put that inside the TRV head and put it back on and wind it down should close it off, if it doesn't add more card until it does, probably wouldn't leave it like that overnight but I've done it a few times and never had any issues. Good thing to do is when you install rads keep the decorators caps from various makes eventually you have one that fits anything, got a small tub with various ones in my van.
