Interesting that system has two pumps I assume the left is domestic hot water?
I find house hold domestic equipment, for the quality far to expensive - I know some suppliers offer five year warranty, but they don't seem to go much longer. I've been to a few jobs which have old Mira pumps installed and they seem to last but there size would be prohibitive in most situations.
I think equipment like that should last the life time property since plenty Grundfoss central heating pumps last 20plus years so why can't shower pumps etc.

The trouble with shower pumps there's just so much more to fail,,,, flow switches,,,pressure switches,,,,PCB board etc. Having said that the early Stuart Turners would go for yrs. £488.

Hunting is when the pump kicks in and out of service when there is no demand being called for endfeed.

If shutting supplies and outlets stops it then you either have a shower mixer letting by or a small leak, more often than not it is limescale build up in the pump which sets off the flow sensors and fitting non returns on the outlets near to the pump as possible will help.
