Went to an emergency yesterday the norm leak through a ceiling!
On arrival went inside living room water pissing through ceiling and two ops sitting on a sofa feet away from the waterfall went upstairs water again coming through next ceiling fook me this is a biggie! Went into a loft conversion and all dry so found a inspection hatch and got access
Steam everywhere you know wots coming next the cwsc was like jelly and pissing out everywhere panic stations set in,, got out and searched for cylinder, there was the immersion switched on get them hot taps on sharpish I shouted to the apprentice and get them people moved quick!! Fooking heart pounding now people wouldn't budge I just had visions of a mass of boiling hot water coming through ceiling pacing up down the stairs just hoping to get as much cold water into the cwsc as possible anyway luck was on my side flushed loads of cold then drained and blanked off and disconnected immersion heater ready for Monday morning to fit new tank. When you just step back for a minute and take stock of what could have happened could have been fatal if this was an hour or so longer
have you guys had any serious issues like this or with unvented.
