When you remove tiles & the wall isn't great do you just tile in top, plaster skim or use some sort of board?
This bathroom is really disgusting & I can't polish a turd but I'd like it to look decent'ish

What do you board it with? How does the board fit on? also, do you fit new bath (as the tiles are around bath area) & board or fit board & put bath against board? As I said this is a real turd & in a turd budget, cheap £230 suite plus cheap taps. White cheap tiles, nothing decent. |

I'd use a 6mm hardiboard (aqua board) and stick it to the wall with adhesive, then put bath in and then tile.

Each job is different,as the removal damage is related to the quality of tile adhesive - best to remove a section for the customer if monies tight and let see what they come of like.

Truly awful Rocky, sounds like your doing a job no one else wants!
Get the windows open and when you get the dust going it will all mix in with the stink and then you'll not notice it so much.
