Attachment Deletedent to this job this morning i was the second plumber to the job and to be fair it sounds like the first plumber was young and still learning. The fault was a bathroom rad not heating and the house is all UFH apart from the bathrooms, the young plumber thought there was some form of blockage but couldnt work it out, in comes PB and after a few minutes looking at the layout problem solved the bathroom rads are on the cylinder circuit and someone had turned or knocked off the lever valve on the flow, job done. I'm not knocking the young upstart we all start somewhere, would of been nice to show him for future reference.

Well done PB that looks quite a complicated system - I suprised the homeowner put their hover and cleaning product in there as those wires could be easily snagged and as seen with the valve an unnecessary bill. whats does UFH mean in your post mean?

Under floor heating battle. the system has air source heat pumps that's why it looks complicated.

just goes to show all plumbers are not rip off merchants as the TV programs like to show us, they never show a good honest plumber and they MUST have met many, We ought to sue them for deformation of character, 6XqEngr88r5GlWolCJDi

you probably would't endfeed, I'd bet if you settled down and were left alone you'd figure it out, the worst bit is if the custerd is on your back asking questions as you're trying to think it out, qwerty

As Tom says endfeed if you were left alone you'd figure it out 100%, start with the basics of what you know and go from there all systems work on the same principals .

They do look complicated at first, however, once you know what goes where they aren't too bad. The worst thing is a ruddy time lag on the units. I've switched the things on and when nothings happened after 40mins you begin to think it's broke and you don't know how to fix it, that's when the ruddy thing suddenly starts up . Could you imagine a TV ever working like this, you'd have missed the program by the time it decided to come on !
