I may of told this story before. A friend of mine use to do plumbing work for a letting agents and he went to a house and pakis were renting it, he drained the heating system and carried out his work and refilled and when venting the two rads in the front room one wouldn't fill up, he asked the lady in the house did it work before and she said yes it worked fine before you touched it. smiley-confused002asak2 not to be defeated he tryed everything and no water came through so asked the husband the same question and got the same answer. So up comes the carpet and then the floorboards, this is when he finds the rad isn't even connected to the heating system, fucking liars. kick-in-the-balls he went fucking mad.

They do look complicated at first, however, once you know what goes where they aren't too bad. The worst thing is a ruddy time lag on the units. I've switched the things on and when nothings happened after 40mins you begin to think it's broke and you don't know how to fix it, that's when the ruddy thing suddenly starts up . Could you imagine a TV ever working like this, you'd have missed the program by the time it decided to come on ! A lot of air source heat pumps are 'HW priority systems' crowsfoot.
