When the heating is running, they are supposed to collect the crap on the return back to the boiler.

my answer is they are a gizmo, they do nothing only fill the pockets of the inventor,,, I've been fitting heating since the 70's . well before the filter was invented, there are thousands of heating systems still running without a filter, so it it needed  ? work it out.. qwerty |
