Hi
Can someone please give me a lesson on how to fix metric to imperial pipe?
How to join them, how to tell if it's imperial, leaks fixes etc.
I've been to a house where the paki plumber had fitted a new tap to bath & the push fit that goes on the pipe moves, it's loose & I think it's imperial not 22mm.
I think half inch to 15mm is ok to use 15mm fittings & compressions? Or not?
22mm to 3/4 won't take 22mm fittings?
Trying to sort this one out once & for all.
Thx all
Rct

its pretty much the same today I can't grip anything with it, this cold weather dont help, I could do with a month in a tropical country, Must't complain though, there's a lot worse things can happen, I can pick a beer up, So its not too bad,

You used to be able to get a press block that would compress the end of a 22mm pipe down to 3/4 it was handy if you had old 3/4 inch fittings you were working from.

you could also get a pipe expander that would expand 3/4 to 22mm, they were handy in the day too,
