hi what is your favorite brand/best waterpump pliers? knipex,nerrad, channellock, irwin,stanley,bahco rothenberger or any others ? many thanks

Hi AJ, I use Irwin and Stanley because I find them comfortable for me, don't go for any cheap ones they're all crap mate. PAYS YOUR MONEY GETS YOUR CHOICE as my old mentor would say.

hi pb do you use them just for gripping pipes or also for loosening and tightening plumbing bits and bobs? I just use them on different types of fittings aj, if you're working on iron pipes you need stilsons to grip the pipe.

After years of using all sorts I bought a set of Knipex Cobras & would never use anything else. I bought a second set 250mm for about £15.
