Changing shower cubicle this afternoon
Took 2hrs to get the old one out.
Silicone around tray all cut out & cleaned to an inch of its life.
Get new enclosure out of box, not a job for one man!! Called Rct Jnr - my saviour.
So I silicone tray & corner of wall - starting to look good
Get the enclosure on the tray, mark holes, nothing the same, plus old one wasn't plumb, fill old holes.
Drill first hole - ooppsss - dust goes over wet silicone! Luckily it's where the bottom will be hidden.
Back in the morning to finish off
I underestimated the time it would take me but that's ok. Custard happy & said money no problems- just charge extra time.

Shower enclosures are always difficult on your own rocky, I've done some right shit ones over the yrs. Put some pics up when you're finished mate.  |

I was very lucky once, it was one of those quadrent ones, I leaned the two curved doors up against a wall, the floor was wet tiles, and as i'm struggling building the frame the front door opens and a strong draft blew the doors and they hit the floor with a thud, my heart sank, but luckily they did not break, phew,,, |

It's all in & silicones up Just need to turn handle upside down & im outta here Next one I do it's at least a day in my own, lesson learned.  |
