Only 1/2hr to go now though JJ Been a busy night? I'm just about to get me boots on now ! It's been a good break though this year. Don't know what I'm doing today (I don't any day really ) I'll just have to see what's come in over the festivities. In the pipeline ahead of jobs what I do know about is a bath that's dropped away from the tiles. I'm also fitting a new soil pipe sometime ahead with the WC in a different position (hopefully I'll get some help with this one) it's so close to the bath that the customer can't get his left leg in and they have to shit sideways . Good luck to all on their 1st day back. Tappy,

Yes back tomorrow but it's a paperwork day and a tax issue since it's the end of the month oh and chasing those who owe and don't want to pay on time. You know every plumber who I've ever known who as gone SE has always said this is "THE" problem. We need a way to make 'em pay up first before any of the work is done.

Interesting Job tomorrow - got to repair a tailgate wiring loom on a VW golf - job consist of removing harness from tailgate - removing failed section of harness and splicing in new section for failed section then, refit harness and reassemble vehicle panels, finally function test.
VW dealer wants just short of £500.00 inc vat and three week waiting time before they can do it - customer can't wait as the frosty mornings is making it dangerous to commute.
I'm going the harness repair route as I can guarantee a same day repair with twelve months warranty - £300 everyone's happy - now that's a good start to the new year - additionally one of the tools that will be of great assistance for this type of job is the multi tool donated by PB in the December competition so thank you PB.
