So if you are asked to move a rad to another wall for example, would you run it in 22mm or stick with 15. If the custard didn't mind the cost.

stick with 15mm its well big enought for any domestic rad, even 10mm will do it its only 1 rad,

When you branch of main flow and return tom,how many rads would you do? 3? Could you push it to more if using 10mm...

I don't like these microbore pipe. In fact I'd go as far as to say I fucking hate them.
I just been given a days work in Oxfordshire on Tues. it's a trek to get there but ripping out a bathroom & 3 rads & capping them off.
Hopefully it'll lead to more if I want it but it's at least an hours drive maybe more.

I dont like the rads which feed into one side of rad, and have that stupid pipe in rad that rots and falls off! Cant remember what there called. Its on a manafold microbore piping

Pull them off? I've never done much work on it. I find it kinks to easy if I'm rough with it and the junior hacksaw isn't accurate enough and causes pipework damage.

10mm is all you'll get in any new build, I would not use 10mm at all at one time, but when your told to use it and find it works well and easy to cut in the plaster, and it does work, I use it all the time now because its become fashion to have no pipes on show, Even plastic 10mm works good too, which is surpizing because with the inlets inside the internal bore is only 6mm, and I've used it on 600mm x1200mm type 22 rads ( double panel double convector) and it works them too, So don't write off 10mm it works good,hides easy.cheaper to buy.cheaper to fit,

splitting 10mm is a no no endfeed, but its ok to use a manifold, use a manfold 15mm x 3 x 10mm outlets will work ok, no problem,

I'd stick to 2 rads on 15mm mate and as Tom said never tee into 10mm for another rad go back to the main flow & return and if your adding a few use a manifold. Attachment Deleted
