One question I do have. The shower, I don't know the make or model but it's got a ceiling shower rose but also a waist height one. I'll pipe it in 15mm with a 22mm run for the hot. Then when it leaves the shower in 15mm I was going to go to 22mm up into the ceiling & then to 15mm again. Where it goes to the waist height outlet, I was just going to go across the wall in 15mm.
Is the 22mm thought overkill & not needed or will it be a bit better?

Stick to 15mm rocky mate all the 22mm will do is offer less resistance because of the hop betweens.

Cheers PB. 15 it is. How about the hot water run. It's in 22 at the mo so I was going to do 22 to reduce to 15 before the basin & shower

I'm not sure, the bedrooms all have ensuite showers & I think there are 4 bedrooms
This bathroom is a stand alone
It's got a large lounge, dining & big kitchen
I'll try to get a few pics tomorrow is she's out
It's got a small river running through with a bridge over.

Bit much for a combi boiler. I'm not getting involved in that PB! I'll just do my bit. The boiler looks modern so it's been put in by some gas engineer. Fingers crossed |

Bit much for a combi boiler. I was in a big house a couple of weeks ago and it had three combi's - the owner costed the job and it worked out cheaper than one industrial unit. That layout had one combi just for the upstairs bathroom rooms, five of them with their own on-suites and it looked smaller than that castle. Also Rockey's the only person I know who's worked in a castle, he just got his title in time. |
