hi one shot drain delivered today and used on blocked walk in shower.i followed the instructions to the letter but its still blocked. these are the instructions i used below. my question is how do plumbers use it? also i took the top cover off which i undid two screws then i took the cup out and then there was water and a bit of crap which i removed.i poured 250ml per instructions below.my question is not all the 250ml went down the pipe as i could still see majority of it in drain? is this nomal ?shouli repeat exact process? or should i use pour more of the stuff down ?many thanks
''To clear toilets and floor drains; Use about 250ml initially and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Carefully add 250ml of cold water and allow to stand for a further 5 minutes and then flush. Repeat if necessary.
To use as a preventitive measure: Add 100ml of One Shot per month in each drain. For best results use early in the morning''

Some of the solution will stay in the trap as does the water. Stops smells etc.
In showers I've always used drain unblocker from B&q (in a yellow bottle). Pour some down & leave it a good few hours then flush with water.
That one shot is lethal but it might take a while to eat away if it's fully blocked.
