yea rocky without doult thats where the blockage is, nightmare, I'd normally say , warm it up but if its plastic, it will melt,,,

you're going to struggle with that rocket, you'll have to undo that nut on the pipe, then back the pipe out some how, hopefully pull it from behind that wall, it will very likley be clipped so it will need a twisting and pulling action, then clearout the blockage, that knuckle elbow will not come out easily so hopefully you can poke the blockage out with a screwdriver, All the joys of plumbing, Attachment Deleted

Rockey not sure if this will help but on a bathroom basin I've fixed a joiners wood bit to standard draining rods before and feed them down the pipe until I've reached the obstruction and just turned the rod pushing and pulling as you go to clear a grout blockage if that's possible in your case.

The thing is the pipe had a 90 bend through the wall & the another 90 bend into the stack

That extra 90 certainly makes it more difficult.
If access and personal safety allows it, you'd be surprised what a kettle of boiling water with a bit head on it will shift.

thats a good suggestion battle, boiling water will melt any grease and a quick poke will collapse the blockage,
