posted on behalf of plong3 by Tom Hi Tom, just been watching your video on flushing rads one at a time, so i had a go but i can't see how to isolate my boiler, there's no valves on the flow or return ( its a Worcester 24i Greenstar pressurised system with an old Hot water tank that has got gate valves on the hot water coil pipes.
One of my rads isnt hot like the others if i flush it forwards and backwards will that help or will the new water just go thro the boiler section of pipework? thanks for any help,

Hi plongs3 because your boiler is a 'heating only' boiler it won't have isolation valves by it won't matter, flush it anyway it won't matter because the boiler won't have a secondary heat exchanger for hot water, sp it will flush the boiler too,
If the rad does not improve it might be other things
A blockage in the pipework, sometimes if they are too far gone, flushing won't help a blocked/stuck valve pipework not big enough not balanced correctley
hope this helps,

Tom - Pong3 doesn't say he's checked if that radiator is air free?
