hi every one have a prob with bath waste leaking I've siloconed under waste to bath then put plastic washer under bath and tightend back nut as manufacturers instructions but it leaks should I have siloconed between washer and back nut as well any advice would be appreciated thanks

silicone does help with bath wastes because the rubber slips out of position when you tighten it, try putting one on dry,

Could try plumber mait😊 Yes I to prefer to use Plumber Mate it means disassembly is possible.

If so, some of the threads on those wastes didn't go right to the top and you had to use 3 or 4 plastic washers underneath to take up the gap. Good luck, Tappy,
