Cheers for the help guys , but don't need to do it now ,

Ripped out the Bath today , and there is a joist up against the wall , that I needed to drill through ,

so we are just going to build a Plinth and raise the shower tray up 6 inches or so , and use the original waste inside , makes my life easier I must admit . but not what I'd have wanted to do in an ideal world.
