hello people first post here I'm just wondering what heights, distances etc you 1st fix pipe work for kitchen sinks, showers, basins, toilets etc?

hello gaslad welcome,
I'd first fix the sink pipes somewhere between 12 - 18 inches off the floor a shower about chest high for a mixer and head high for a leccy shower
about 10 inches for a toilet and 2ft for a basin, but it can vary a lot depending on what type of suite is going in,

yea, if you're too high its awkward getting the fittings on to the taps, also there's often a washing machine and dish washer to concider and you don't want to hit the pipes if you're drilling a waste hole through the wall,
