Is it worth topping up with inhibitor if taken 4 rads off for decoratores,newish boiler. ?? Can ya mix inhibitors if topping up???

You can mix inhibitors endfeed,,, the way I'd look at it you can charge more money for adding the inhibitor and the customer will be happy that you have added it mate.

I'd top up if I had removed say 1/4 of the rads on the system, I reckon that if you follow the instructions you're over inhibiting anyway so it's OK to dilute it a bit in my opinion. Is it worcester that only honour a warranty if sentinel or fernox inhibitor is used? I know one of the boiler manufacturers used to specify a brand of inhibitor for their warranty.

Also I know plenty have no time for it but I'm on "for it side" and I mix any make - I find you can tell the combi's that haven't had the inhibitor orange grungy slime is everywhere, but very minimal on a dosed up system.
