Replacing some internal cast stacks today, which are going to be Behind studwalls they are down pipes for rainwater we are using the flexible connectors at bottom of cast, Got asked the question if the down pipes back up would they hold the pressure at the flexible coupler ,the building is about 10m high! So thats 1 bar. Also asked what fitting could be used to hold pressure if back up occurred I dont think there is anything but thought id ask just incase anybodys come accross anything . The builders dont care about the elec, plum pipes behind the walls because they only quoted to build there bit. Cheers guys

I'd say they'be ok, the joint can't blow off with all the wieght on top of it, I've no facts and figure to prove or disprove it but I'be confident fixing it to clamped flexi coupling,

At 6" the clips only rated at 18 psi ? So could end up feeling-blue-smiley-emoticonrain If your supplied poor quality clips as Jubille are top of the range.

Looks just the job Endfeed.
What condition was the cast iron in since it was positioned internally within the building?
Why I ask is, I've worked on cast iron externally (mainly soil waste) and I've had it where it's been as good as new and other time super fragile especially just where it pops through the floor.

How did you find the corner ones for cuting with the grinder?
I find the 4" can't get into do a clean cut and the 7" destroys the stub and snaps it below my chosen finish point. So I cut it higher than I want then work a top cut in so a section drops out so the 4" can reach the part it couldn't get to.
