Thinking of using this Big boy fibre glass resin kit to repair a 4'' crack in a bath tomorrow. The crack has gone all the way through even though it's almost invisible from the inside. Anyone used similar? Also thinking of drilling a 4mm hole at each end of the crack to make it harder for the crack to just get bigger if you know what I mean, will fill the holes with resin when doing the repair. The customer isn't too fussed about appearance but the crack is on the closest side of the bath so can't see it 'til you get in the bath anyway. It's a customer I've worked for a few times before and I'll be doing a full bathroom refurb for them in a year or so I suggested repairing the crack rather than replacing the bath. Just after any pointers really from anyone who's done this before.

Just after any pointers really from anyone who's done this before. Well I've never used that kit but I used the roofing product GRP which the roofer just gave me FOC with the measured activator for the quantity of product given and it repaired a bath for a customer who holed his bath when fitting a blind. It worked great and customer got somthing similar to this www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ENAMEL-REPAIR-KIT-CERAMIC-ACRYLIC-BATH-FRIDGE-SHOWER-WASHING-MACH-SINK-WHITE-/321705796457?hash=item4ae728e369:g:Qe4AAOSw-7RVEoLCfinish the inside. I think the two holes since your problem is a crack is best cause it will stop it running - mine was holed to begin with I just dressed it up.
