Friends
I posted about my tap & found the valve etc.
Anyway, it's not the tap valve at all, it's the handle that wiggles a mm or so.
I've taken it off & there's a small screw inside but it's tight as can be.
Any thoughts? It's not a huge issue but it does annoy me
Cheers all

Mine's exactly the same, they're swirl taps from poofix, one's solid and no matter what I do the other one wobbles a bit, just the handle, I thought about something like epoxy resin, but it would make the handle near impossible to get off if it ever needed a washer change. Been like that since day 1 and only started to bug me after the 1 year return cut off... If I get a basin tap swap for a customer I'll recommend the swirl ones and once paid for will swap bits with my taps then return them

My one cost me a few quid. As I say no emergency but it does wind me up.
