I'm the same, Its common with plumbers, just carting our tools in to the house is something we do everyday, our toolbags weight loads, then theres the rads, boilers, baths, shower trays and cubicles, it all tells on the back, I ache when i wake up and putting my socks on is painfull, but we go on, I've never had a slipped disc that i know about, just fucked up joints due to overloading the framework,

My lower back is always stiff, cant bend down to lift bog seat some mornings! It does ease latter in the day, driving me up the wall at moment....I think the position a plumbers get in plays a part in back trouble, had a float valve today had to squeeze right around side of bog to get it out,can feel it my back now... smiley-violent001 hammertime

I had a slipped disc 2 year ago. Put me out of work for 7 months, ended up having to have surgery to correct it.
