for plumbing in recent times, my vote goes to the pipeslice, I don't know how we coped without it before it was invented, To my memory I think it came out in the 1990's, before then we had the mini cutters for tight spaces,  |

speedfit's a good un PB but it did't help the plumber, it allowed women to leave the kitchen and join pipes, man-in-the-doghouse doghouse The only downside to plastic plumbing is every tom dick and harry are at it , they all call themselves PLUMBERS , most of them can join a bit of plastic pipe together with a push fit fitting but haven't really got a clue about real plumbing , i usually go to at least one plumbing abortion every week and some of the things i see would make you cringe , but these fookers seem to get away with it , got to blame some of the home owners as well for wanting work done for peanuts . |
