With a chesty cough and flu like symptoms. I'm just about managing to go to work, but I'm only about 50% fit. Getting very tired in the afternoon. After coughing my way through an awkward pair of sink taps the customer says "I don't know how to tell you this but my upstairs taps not working". It looked another right pig of a job, so I just said to him "It needs a new pair of taps" and buggered off!  Not like me at all, but hey you've got to put yourself first sometimes! Tappy, |

Thanks for all the goodwill messages guys.
I feel slightly better today (not quite as feverish), although I've nowhere near made the jump to wellness yet!
My firm have deployed such an arsehole up sickness scheme that I'm going to try and ride my illness out by going into work and not calling for many jobs and resting up between them.

Thanks for all the goodwill messages guys. I feel slightly better today (not quite as feverish), although I've nowhere near made the jump to wellness yet! My firm have deployed such an arsehole up sickness scheme that I'm going to try and ride my illness out by going into work and not calling for many jobs and resting up between them. Tappy, Well tomorrow's driving conditions are down as dangerous from 8AM, so that means plenty rest cause your're only meant to attend emergency jobs! |
