Anyone know the best way to prevent/ stop condensation off our toilet cistern? Judy swears I'm pissing on the bathroom mat. I've shown her where the water is coming from. We've left windows open, turned heating up / down and still the bloody condensation drips onto the floor and works it's way over to the bath mat. Bloody annoying so it is. (I've even thought of putting one of those aquarium heaters in there to warm the water up to stop it)

Unless I'm 100% sure it's a leak I won't even try to fix it these days. You could try manual filling it with warm water - that shouldn't condense.

Been to a supposedly leaking C/C WC today that's definitely condensation.
"It's leaking at the front and when I flush the water comes from underneath it" she says...No it doesn't.. The crafty tenant had left a small pool of water at the front as if this would fool an experienced plumber. I told her to wait until he warmer weather arrives and if she's not happy ring in the job again and we'll have another look at it.
Within' 10 mins she was on the phone to customer care who sent me a job to renew a cracked WC Pan (it's not).
I had to get back on the phone and explain the details to them and how renewing the pan won't make any difference to the condensation, any rode I didn't go back, but got a call into the bosses office tonight as a result.
I've decided that this is the Bayle of hay is the one that's finally Brocken the sick camels back, and if I'm not well enough for work by next Monday, fuck it, I'm giving in and having a sickie!!
Tappy (a really pissed off one),

I phoned in at 5.00pm to my firms sickness monitoring agents to "open an unspecified leave of absence" tomorrow from 8.00am. 5 minutes ago a nurse rang me back (who works for yet another company) to establish a specified reason for my absence. After the usual list of pre determined questions had been chortled out we eventually started to talk more like human beings do and we even had a laugh about plumbers and nurses having a lot of similarities in their jobs. I asked her if she had any ideas about stopping the throat tickle that's been keeping me awake all week, she suggested rubbing Vic into the base of my feet before putting my socks on............................... Well I'm getting desperate now, so guess what I've just done!!! By Heck, it's already warmed me cold feet up
