Washing machine again

So, you know the spigot, well that goes through the plastic nut. Now then I saw a fitting that goes onto the nut & then onto the pipe so the connection is solid & fixed.

I can't find the fitting.

Would it work by just putting a straight 40mm connection on top of the pipe & putting the spigot & nut on top?
