I've got a gardening customer today to see & her toilet won't flush, no problems with fix that.
She also asked me to look at her shower as the valve is hard to turn.
Haven't seen it but could it be a new cartridge needed?
Cheers all

A few years ago ours was doing the same rocket, I bought an o ring kit for it, and it's been fine since although our second shower is starting to go the same way so looks like I may be having to re ring that one as well in the future.

Sometimes all it takes is a strip down, clean the lime scale/gundge and grease up with vasaline and it works again, smiley-sad029 rain

When you get a situation like yours rocket, what are the custards like if you suggest a new one? If you try to fix it and the bar mixer being a twat of a job and not repair ,it must be dificult to get the cash of them for your time?

thats always a problem endfeed, I would warn them first," it might work, but if it doest, you'll need a new shower," Then I'd hike up the price of the shower by £20 for time fucking about,
