just round the corner, Im either losing the plot or was not very composmentos,,, the kitchen floor was flooded, I looked under the plinth and saw water dripping off a conex fitting, ah ah says me, I see your problem, then struggled for 1/2 an hour laying face down in the water cutting out the conex fitting and used two push fit connectors ( there's no room for spanners), Anyrode turned water on and its still dripping, further investigation proved it was just from the tap connector and running down onto the compression fitting,GRRRR, what a plonker, I should have checked that first,,,,A new fibre washer fixed that in a jiffy,,, note to self, Always check from above,,,,

Nice one Tom, mine was 2 min drive away too.
Had another call. Pan connector leaking, going tomorrow. Not sure why it's dripping. I'll push it back on. If that doesn't work it's a new one? Any other fixes?

thats about all you can do rocky, try refitting it and if that dont work fit a new one, just do what I did't do today first though, check its not coming from above, like dripping from the flush cone ( if it has one) or the doughnut washer.

Nice to speak to you Tom. I'm finding it easier understanding the northern accent now.
My dad was from Glasgow, my mates used to say they couldn't understand a word he said, I didn't think he had an accent!
My mates mums from Singapore & he also thinks there's no accent, there is, 100% chink

A guy who used to live opposite me was from Glasgow and I would nod my head and say yes but I never actually understood a word he ever said to me! I never understood a word of what Rab C Nesbitt said on that TV show either, yet I found him very funny. I'm fine with the Edinburgh accent though.
