Got to change two toilet seat seats in a public toilet tomorrow,they are on the stainless steel anti vandal type,had a quick look and cant see any way to the back nuts??as anybody else work on these???cheers guys

I've seen them but never fitted or repaired one.
Sorry, I'm not much use here EF.
I would imagine that access is going to be difficult though.

There will be caps on the hinge part of the seat,,,pull them off and you'll find screw heads either side and then you undo them and that releases the expansion on the gromits and off comes the seat.

I only had a quick look at this job p.b, and im sure it had these type of hinges(pics). Fingers crossed it will have the top fixings.ill put pics up of my finds tomorrow. Cheers p.b Attachment Deleted

Oh wow, you had to remove the toilet to fix the seat! Looks like you had to go into a service duct for access too. Didn't think it would be an easy one though EF.
