Endfeed that wouldn't look out of the way fitted in the Flying Scotsman. It would be nice to know its age?

Ah, the robin hood eco HE, solar powered, cast iron E model, quite a common site in its day,In the advertising campaign to get these boilers moving. the makers boasted of Noah installing one on his boat, Of course this could neither be proved or dissproved , The owner of that one was almost certainly very upset with the new Boshe worcester they replaced it with, as it breaks down every 2 weeks during winter months and the good ole Robin Hood gave service for 100 years without a problem, they don't make them like that anymore,

I bet if you stuck some wood in it, it would fire up and run for another 100 years

I would rather have the boiler than the Abbey - it won't belong before these items become listed and equally as important as the building its in.

Are you working in that rather grand mansion endfeed? No tom, wish I was, it was last weekend, on a day out. We bought national trust cards we enjoy going around looking at the old heritage buildings and the grounds.. I just go to look at the old plumbing laughing-dog-smiley-emoticon

So do I, I walk round in amazement of how the builders back then built these beautiful buildings with the tools they had then, Everything crafted by hand and built to last, A far cry from todays 'sheds',

I don't know how they built the large bridges, railways, mansions etc.
Hard graft, craftsmanship & time
Nowadays firms want things built & fixed fast for profit

How does the p.c.b board fit in this boiler? "Roped and Run" Cast Iron flow and return, the young plumbers of today would be lost there.
