hey up. i was in a property today and the gas safety man placed a warning sticker on the gas cooker because there was no natural ventilation in the cooking area. The extractor was one of those crap re circulation things which do nowt, and there was no extractors to be seen. There were a door to the hallway, and door to the utility which i guess you could leave the door/window open to the outside. He said to the owner thats not good enough because you won't have all that open in the cold, or if its raining.
What do you guys think? qwerty

because a cooker is only working for short spells of time, there is no need for extractors, there is a chart of room sizes for kitchens, So if an engineers turned it off, the room must be too small, its probly one of these hencoat type flats that are going up now for landlords to make mege bucks, making 14 flats out a semi detached house,

The workshop of the firm that I worked for back in the seventies as recently been converted into 3 living units and they must be very small inside. Still I suppose if someone as nowhere to live................. One of the plumbers who used to work with me back then would jokingly tell me that they used to be "horse stables you know" then added "we're the horses now"!

hey up, thanks for all the posts and sorry for the delay in replying. You're right it was a relatively small kitchen. Guess they will have to sort something out or stick an electric hob in there. r_YU1yvrdxzyzo1stXVb diy
