When someone talks about standing pressure regarding mains pressure what are they talking about?
A chap said he's got .25 bar pressure but standing pressure is 1.5 bar.
Cheers

The water board guarantee you a minimum mains working pressure of (say 1.0 bar I'm not to sure without looking it up)
AT 2AM IN THE MORNING!!
which I found very interesting and not a lot of help to anyone who has low water pressure (an interesting "get out of jail card" from the water companies).
