T'were hand made so it were guvnor. I could av sworn me mate Owd Tom made that back in 71, I reckons, Probably during the blackout or summat, o could av been during the Zulu invasion (I reckon)

we call those a swept tee, it lessens restriction on a low pressure system, not very good for doing pipework on the surface,,

Never seen one till now,it sweeps into one pipe I thought it would be for a one piped system?

I've come across them before, but not that many.
There're not a one pipe heating fitting E/F, although I know what you are thinking of is a swept tee to encourage gravity flow up to the radiator.
I think I may of seen them used on those old airy houses of the late 50s style.
