working in a house today and noticed the plumber had put an over flow in the soil like this, Its not the right way but, i've seen it done a lot, Attachment Deleted |

working in a house today and noticed the plumber had put an over flow in the soil like this, Its not the right way but, i've seen it done a lot, I did a job earlier in the year Tom and the old girl was complaining about high water bills, she lived in the bottom part of the house and never went upstairs the poor old girl.I went upstairs to the airing cupboard and could hear the loft tank running constantly so I went outside and couldn't see an overflow anywhere, went up in the loft and the float arm had fallen off so it was full bore into the tank, the overflow had been tee'd into the stack and had it been the proper way someone might of noticed and saved the old girl a few quid. |

I've also seen the overflow on toilets teed into the flush pipe, very creative and nowt wrong with that.  |

yea I've seen a kit you can buy, it straps on the flush pipe and seals it good, |

its a bit better thanks Rockey but I've still not got 100% movement, I can't grip like I need to, So its small jobs for now and hopefully things will improve futher, I may have to learn to live with what I've got, After all the tests and xrays and shit, the Dr's still can't say what is happening, One said, " it might just go by its self" Another mentioned sticking needles in my hands to inject some kind of lubricant, " no thank you" was my answer to that, I'll give it more time and see where it goes,,  |
