In a café I once overheard some gas fitters talking to one another saying that being in a gas explosion is terrifying and if I had too chose between getting an electric shock or being in a gas explosion it would be an electric shock every time.
Not exactly encouraging words for the safety of the British public are they?

Seems the residents reported the smell of gas numerous times over three day period before it went BOOM - someone has got a lot of explaining to do for that near miss - the home owner was saved by the fridge.
