Toolstation sell Propane gas cylinders (Vortex brand) for £8.25. Other places sell stuff like Rothenberger for almost double. Same size bottles.

Is there any difference? Is the Rothy some wonder gas? Or, as Sir Mick says, is it just a 'gas, gas, gas'?

£8.25 is cheap. Anyone used the Vortex stuff?

Just as I thought. Toolstation gas is as good as any other, and a really good price.

Will try some, and see if I can get some 'satisfaction'.
