he's been busy today and sent me some pics of an underground repair he did, Attachment DeletedAttachment Deletedas you can see the black alkathene was damaged, So I think he's used two transiton fitting to use the blue 25mm pipe to repair the pipe,

Mind that pipework doesn't look as though it's very deep in the ground or is it an optical illusion?

Looking at the job and how you've made it look easy, and taking into consideration today's weather, that would be the type of job we should all be happy to go to!

Do those transition fittings slip up the pipe? Or was there enough flex in plastic pipe to make repair?? smiley-talk002 3 amigos

those tranition fitting are brill endfeed, yes they will slide, they get you out of a lot of impossible situations,

yes endfeed they work on size, any pipe, lead, iron,galv,copper,plastic and stainless,

they are the dogs dangles endfeed, I've used them on really old iron mains and lead and they always seal perfectly mate, you get about a 6mm tolerance between fitting sizes...15-21..21-27 and so on .
